    Another interesting blog on the real estate bubble is thehousingbubbleblog.com. Of course the posters are almost all convinced that there is a real estate bubble and it's popping right at this moment. Don't expect to see much in the way of a contrarian viewpoint to that perspective.

    For a look at a message board with still some believers in real estate you can check out the SDCIA Message Board which is for the San Diego Creative Investors Association. You'll find flippers in their native habitat.

      This is how all bubbles decline, with each participant losing faith one at a time. It's the flip side of the bubble rise psychology, when everyone has faith, driven by the bubble system.

      A very old game. Works every time.

      From the original iTulip.com background...
      Some in clandestine companies combine;
      Erect new stocks to trade beyond the line;
      With air and empty names beguile the town,
      And raise new credits first, then cry 'em down;
      Divide the empty nothing into shares,
      And set the crowd together by the ears.
      - Daniel Defoe (1660 - 1731)
