In the old days Uni was for smart young people whom were doing STEM subjects, or a few dummy's doing Art or History.......then Tony the war crimo thought it would be GREAT if we turned the UNI's into mass production..........they didn't get more smart people, just lots of halfwits in deep debt!

Now, they "Woke".....to this scam.

It's the same in most (all?) other western countries too.

At the same time the education for learning a trade has been slowly dismantled/discouraged.
It seems that politicians have been thinking 'if our population is more highly educated, average salaries will increase and the GDP will rise'.

Of course in practice the number of highly educated people is the result of a lot more factors than just accessibility to university studies.
By artificially increasing inflows into studies, standards have been lowered to accomodate and lots of studies have been introduced that provide very little benefit to the job market or society as a whole.

Yes..........its about to BLOW in their face.
If they had ANY sense they sack off the "Woke" studies, but until a gun is put to their head forget it.

"Sleepy Joe" could have come out swinging on this one......yes the "Woke" would have opened fire, but once the dust had settled he would have been MUCH closer to Trump.....instead he tried to milk it......BIG mistake. All eyes on his VP choice, as Victor Hanson-Davis sez the plan of the hard left is to slide a racical VP in then pull the rug under Joe.
