In a nut shell, you don't need to be in a "Work Place".....unless its a factory site.

Thus you can "Offshore" yourself, eg Why live in a crappy crime ridden city?
You can work 10-100 miles away & just meet up now and again for training/meetings.........

I mean your firm could save a fortune in office rent, am sure the government will put in place TAXES that will force employers of over a certain size to do this. There is a group of us whom live quite close to each other, we could meet up in a Pub or Coffee shop......

Before I began writing this column, I was commissioned by the Mail to write about leaf blowers. I hate them.
They are so noisy that the operatives (as the council undoubtedly calls them) must wear ear defenders.
Never mind the poor saps like me who happen to be within a hundred yards of them and will be deafened.
They are also utterly pointless. My own exhaustive time and motion study has proved that a person with a broom is roughly seven times as efficient. And infinitely quieter.
