Go 4 mins in & see what was the WORST car in the UK in 98 !

No internet in those days so everyone who had one couldn't talk to other owners.......what was stunning was Vauxhall (GM) reaction to coming bottom!

They didn't try to put things right, they didn't say sorry............they Threatened to sue Top Gear/ J D Power!

J D Power said "Ok, bring it on, we got Lawyers ".......GM even took out FULL page ads in UK national News papers trying to say J D Power got it wrong..............It Blew up in their face, Sales of the Vectra Crash & burned (like their cars).

GM shut a factory as by now for not much more money your ass could be in Audi/BMW/Merc, it cost almost as much as a "Good" Germany brand......which would you want up the driveway?

I do miss the old days, my hope is Blighty will crash again (already underway) Cheap car Finance goes & cheap EV's from China replace Company BMW's etc.....
Built down to a price because of the cost of the battery, once more Performance/Grip/Brakes will cost REAL money

Not just smaller, but simpler do they need MASSIVE wide tyres?.....Large brakes.......+90 mph top speeds?
