"......end the sale of Gas/Diesel cars with in 10 years"

Hmm, now then ALL the nations that have had massive lock downs are also those whom have said THEY wish to end the cars of gas/Diesel cars in 10 years as well.........Pan National Brave new World.

When I began driving 1980's I think there were 22 million cars, now almost 40 million......can't keep building more & more roads. Perhaps if they had not allowed a flood of migration there be less.

I think a lot of people driving freely now will not be in 5-10 years.

      Note the cost:-
      https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/n...ototype-review

      £45 K gets you 105 mph!!!!

Tesla is a stoking horse/ proof of concept project, no sure what happens to it .......but will it EVERY make a profit?.............may be if battery costs fall. Elon might be willing to make a cut price model 3 powered by Sodium-ion battery....not as powerful but a lot cheaper to produce.

Either way, the days of cheap production cars are over.

Also the days when a car producer could make a large powerful car for the price of a small less powerful one IS over.
Powerful car = powerful battery=more cost to the car producer.

Ah, Bank of England has said we can expect a fall in house prices of 16%.........I think 30% would be near right,
