Re: Michael Moore has UPSET the Left
I think "Michael" is Working Class, Blue Collar FAR more than he is left wing........If you ever watch any video of the late Saul Alinsky you find the same thing.....Saul was totally against welfare, thought it was a scam.

Re: Michael Moore has UPSET the Left
I don't normally watch videos. The information density isn't enough for the time invested compared to reading.
But at the urging of some friends I did watch this film.
A bit overly melodramatic in places. Short on solutions.
But the one thing I did take away. If you lacked conviction to own oil and gas companies before, you shouldn't have any qualms about that after watching Gibbs' and Moore's film. The world uses a lot of hydrocarbons. Even the renewable energy industry uses a lot of hydrocarbons. What a surprise, LOL.

This is one of the things that the film got more or less right. The green movement is not in principle a stupid or deceitful idea. The problem is the execution. We fill up all of our open spaces with windmills and solar panels but we don't cut the cord to the coal power plant. The point is to do the "energy transition" while there is sufficient capital to complete the task. There will be a Energy Transition. The only thing we can do is make it a graceful one or do nothing and have a chaotic one. The film seems to be saying that the only choice is a chaotic transition. They could be right.

I hope its not me?
I thought she did well in the 1st part of her post & thought she then expand with details.....sadly she waffled about Biomass then went full SJW & tried to paint the film as racist because there is not enough people in it with darker skin colour (like the ones mining the Cobalt for her EV).
I was disappointed she did this & thought she wouldn't step to such a "Cheap shot"......oh well

Re: Michael Moore has UPSET the Left
For your information I worked with people all my life of all skin tones, found them to be outstanding.
I agree that some white ones (like those whom bully me at school or broke into my house or stole my car) are a problem.

I might be inclined to ask that you back up that slander with some sort of evidence, but having shown yourself to be a contemptible worm of a man I'd give it no more consideration than a pile of dog squeeze. The pile, at least, is worth its weight as manure. Your opinions have yet to rise to such valuation.
