I noticed this over the years, 80's cars were dead traps..........but large glass areas & thin "A" pillers allowed you a vastly better view than todays tanks. Also you didn't need much power.....my much loved/much missed Reualt 5 GT Turbo only had 120 bhp (I stroked it up to 135-140 ish latter) but only weight 900 kgs!
