Rather crude and misplaced criticism Mike.

All this proved is the already obese public prefers to pay for dietary junk food and there's not enough market for anything of quality.

I remember reading about Oliver's early attempts to improve school lunch nutrition, and parents getting around the school board bans on junk food by handing crisps, sodas and chocolate bars through the fence to their demanding, overweight kids.
