Great hopefully we stay in, I would rather be ruled by Brussels than Washington, in fact looking at the mess that our parliament is I'd rather Brussels than London.

Maybe, they might get general AI first but my bet is on the US or Europeans.

Certainly the Europeans with CERN have the fundamental science lead, most inventions in modern society stem from institutional science think semi-conductors, lasers, graphene etc.
