I have a number of probems with this:-
If they were shipping Isreal/Iran bomb grade stuff, why not just "lose" a bomb?.......i mean how any broken arrows have they had?
Also, its been shown now by the work of Prof Chris Busby that the Atomic stuff just in British bombs (Xmas island test) came from the reactor at Hanford. So if they could ship out a shed full of the stuff for the Limey's what an extra 20-30 kgs?

I suspect sloppy handing/record keeping more than theft.

As for Silkwood herself, she had a er......strange life style......how many kids to how many fathers?......how many lovers (Male/Female) & how much drugs?

I think there is another side to this.

Shocked by the Company, its total dis-re-guard for the workers, the Union was unless as well & the goverment was a mess....i Know this was Nixon era...but what a fail by everyone!

The company was shit, hired upper mangerment that were clue-less & had very basic saftey regs......i mean Homer simpson had better idea's.
Silkwood did try to help the staff but i can't help thinking ther is MUCH more to this than evil large company tried to force her out by infecting her with a massive dose of Radioactivty?

Gee, that would sure as hell get the attension of EVERYONE, would she do it her self?.................no..........but may be a 3rd party?
