Autocar has long been a WHORE to car producers, advert income was & always have been a major driving force behind them.......so for them to turn on VW like this is....er quite shocking. I note the N02 output was 0.35g/Km.......the standard set by law is 0.080g/Km (i think)...........er a bit of a miss then. Oh yes this was the little 1600cc engine.......they yet to test the 2 litre versions.......Oh yes owners are reporting BIG troubles & break downs!
