I don't agree with him............WWW has done so much for so many people!
Yes Pubs have closed because why the Hell would you want to spend time with people you have no real conection with?
I profit in many ways because of WWW, i re-educated myself, expanded my knowege & even started to think in differant ways. While i am no EJ i have started to view things using his mind set..........in many ways EJ & Schif/Rickards etc have opened a new world to me.

Mass/digital social media can certainly contribute to feelings of loneliness and depression.
When Facebook/Instagram are filled with images and snippets of people displaying artificial perfection can leave people feeling inadequate and alone.
Whats better? 1000 meaningless "wants" connections or 10 meaningful "needs" ones?
Social media will evolve, I suspect, catering towards the facilitation of the human need for deeper, more meaningful, an healthier connections.
Coca-cola versus Carrots.
People eat and drink both, but haven't had access to much in the way of digital carrots yet, nor an opportunity to better bridge the digital to physical gap.Comment
