In the end it's a game of chicken... which big manufacturers will go bankrupt first, freeing up capacity allowing other manufacturers to increase margins allowing them to get closer to breaking even.
PSA has the French government as a shareholder, and they may bet on Fiat-Chrysler biting the dust firstengineer with little (or even no) economic insight -

China+ French goverment have PSA's back.
and they may bet on Fiat-Chrysler biting the dust first..................YES, FIAT have the worst build Q problems out there, i mean they bought the bombed out Yugo car plant & the people got even with Nato via building totally dreadful cars!
GM big problem is the pension & the fact that their new high tec diesel engine is going to get band in the next few years.
