BHP just got into bed with BP, gave them cash for a big project in the Gulf............could a full take over be coming?

Been a mega train-weck over the last 5 years or so, but bit by bit the "Ship" is turning.........they sold off their smaller tankers & are now buying out some of the other company..............up 7% last time i looked (am still VERY underwater on this one).
