From my viewpoint, as simply an observer of the debates from this side of the Atlantic Ocean, my take is that you are going to surprise many people by becoming one of the great Presidents of the United States of America. You face many challenges and who better to address them.

Well said. The exaggerated statements from democrats about Mr Trump being likely to blow up the world - a man with lots of children and grand children is not going to do anything stupid that jeopardizes the future of his clan! I wonder if Donald Trump big plan is that this is the beginning of a Trump family political dynasty in the style of the Kennedy's and hopefully without the tragedy. The best part is yet another smooth transition of power for the Republic of the United States.

I think Trump, being the superb negotiator that he is, is less likely to begin a hot WWIII than was HRC. In the final analysis, not blowing up the world "trumps" all other issues, so that was why I voted for him.

A political dynasty? That's a very interesting thought! Did you see his grandson standing next to him last night? Perhaps you're right.

As far as a smooth transition goes, that remains to be seen. There are some very angry and powerful people today.

It pains me to listen to these reporter saying things like the USA has never been more polarized, we will never come together, the discourse of this election is unheard of - they are wrong on all counts.

our system depends on us all disagreeing and battling every four years to determine the next President. Some election cycles you think the President elect is the second coming and sometimes you think we've elected the Devil. Imagine a world where we all agree! Thank god I have friends who see politics differently and I hope they say the same about me. Consider the types of countries where there is complete agreement on the President/leader: China, Russia, Nazi Germany......
