It may even get worse.
Lets talk about interests and the fall out a possible renegotiation of say NAFTA. I am not so sure how many people know how neoliberalism works.
One place to start is to find out who owns this debt:

How will a renegotiation affect their balance of payments? I mean if a lot of that debt is owned by US commercial banks, one could see why they love to see manufacturing over to Mexico.
That's why they are terrified by Trump IMHO.
However if the game is played as usual then its the ole bailout.
Anyone know who owns this debt? -
