At my current organization we've just completed a move to re-integrate all of our applications from development through desktop / mobile app to Microsoft's platform. As we move from co-lo to cloud over the next 3 years we'll use Azure. I can't make an argument for Apple without Jobs but I think one may be better served to review the history of IBM to understand MSFT. The next big trend will be VR/AR. We'll have to see how MSFT does with HoloLens.
