I went to bed last night assured by the Neo-Lib BBC that we where going to stay in the Euro-zone..............awoke this morning to the news. I hadn't been this pleased since the fall of South vietham!

I still recall the joy of watching the navy guys having to throw the helocopters over the sides of the ships!

The Neo-Libs are PISSED!
Looking at a map of the UK, those hard working types voted to leave, the great Welfare sites (Liverpool/Manchester) voted to stay. The reason is simply this. The EU mug's me of $40 & gives the unwashed workshy scum $5.......thus the EU is popluar with them. The Lib-Eliltes are now calling for:-

Liverpool-Manchester-London to become part of France......or crap like that. They are also want another vote because they did not like this one & people didn't "Understand" their point of view. It simple does NOT strike them that people DID get it!

I think the killer was this, we can see the face & curture of the UK changing, if you had a daughter would you want her to grow up in an Islamic state that hates women?

After the sercet deal with China in Feb i knew this was coming..............the great reset has begun. Mega don't talk rubbish.
London who subsides the rest of the Country voted overwhelming to stay.
Scotland also voted to stay and when the oil price goes up again we can say good by to the UK.

It was the selfish Baby Boomer generation that voted exit and the young are not happy.

the scots are making noises about a rerun of THEIR referendum of 2 years ago, and then there this, from the link you posted:

catalonia is pressing for a referendum of their own [to break off from spain], which they will get if podemos wins enough support on tuesday.

It is a myth that London subsidises the rest of the country. The South East imports twice as much as it exports. The "wealth" creation of the South East is actually debt creation.

IMO, there's a very good chance the Scots will get their referendum, and within the next 2 years or so too, since Article 50 puts a real, hard time limit on things.

More than that, Martin McGuinness has been calling for a vote for a Unified Ireland to occur prior to the end of the Article 50 process. Now, there's a land border where it's a real pain in the ass to be out of the EU and not be able to cross and work as you've come to be used to and expect. And prior to St. Andrew's Agreement in '06, I'd say old Martin and the rest of Sinn Fein are just full of hot air. But I think now they might just have the institutional force to make a plebiscite happen. I have no clue on earth what the results of such a thing would be. Either way, there'd have to be a border poll first.

Either way, and ignoring the EU, this is probably the closest the UK has come to falling apart in quite some time.
