brokerage firm recommendation

I'm looking for a new place to put investment money. In the distant past I had accounts with Ameritrade and TRowe. Here's my questions: Is there anything in between the discount broker with the 5-20 $ trades and the full service brokers charging 200 dollars?

I use fidelity, used to work there. You can get a flexible menu to choose from. $8 trades to wealth management for high net worth individuals it's all there.

I'm a big fan of Schwab. Have been happy with their service and available options. They also seemed to survive the 2008 financial chaos with nary a negative article nor bad word spoken about them.
