So are you and all your fellow citizens going to junk your cars and buy new Teslas?

My "Fellow citizens" will not be given a choice!
I used to ride FAST Jap 2 stroke sports bikes......they are no more!

"They" will demand that VW Etc replace Diesels with small cars or Hybrid-gas cars.................VW has already spoken of a 999 cc 3 pot engine with eletro-turbo & a set of "Cheap" Lead acid battery for mild hybrid use....

All "They" have to do is wip up an "outrage" over the DEATHS............threaten car producers with law suits for PAST pollution. Then ensure its too expensive to make a diesel engine "Clean" enough.......................

Re: Diesel, the battle lines are drawn!

I used to love diesels. In our family we imported used diesel engines from Japan since the seventies.
Around 2000 the business was all but banned for economic reasons.
        I drive a diesel car.
However, one must acknowledge reality: diesel engines cars are DEAD.
Petrol cars have some more life left in them...but not too much.
It's a process, not an event (remember who said that?) but it's one going to happen. As certain as death (or taxes).
