Sorry for all you guys who haven't enjoyed the automotive and culinary delights of Espanola, NM.
Ok, I'll offer some translation for our anglo readers. This thread has officially become an inside the orale, (OR-a-lay) or possibly the hijole,(E-hol-A!...extend the E and end with a hard A), beltway conversation. My first meal in New Mexico was at a little roadside restaurant just outside Abiquiu. Enchiladas with black beans and pasole, (pa-sol-a...hard A). This was followed by a sopapilla with honey and some left over red chile, (soap-a-pe-a, che-lay). I was an instant convert. We came out here 2-3 times a year from 1980 to 1995 and finally moved here in 1996. Red or green?

Christmas! (For the uninitiated, that's half red chile, half green chile on your enchiladas)

Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Alright, we are obviously going to have to organize an iTulip car show, restaurant tour and economic outlook conference (all rolled into one) out your way with shiny! and santafe2 as our invaluable guides.

Any time GRG. A tour of the garage and lunch at Tomasita's, or The Shed is on me.
