We need to plan to humanely decrease our population, 180 our consumer based society and hope we're not already too late. I find it horribly depressing that I don't think any of that will happen until well after it's too late for most folks.
Concur, and I would add that changing our diets to reduce the consumption of animal products would have a big impact. A plant-based diet is more clearly definable and may be easier for an individual to implement than to "180 our consumer based society". Diets show signs of moving slowly in that direction in some countries, not so much in others.

I work in the field. Those are terms of art based on the program specific measures.
Product flow with associated inputs and outputs would need to be determined.
Also, whose scorecard is being used?
Is this part of a company wide sustainability initiative? Or is this a zero waste initiative?

Also, when you say "biodegradable", do this mean "compostible"?

Sorry, I meant "compostable". Autocorrect does not win this time.
