Re: vw is NOT getting off lighty!

Depends on whether the "VW bailout bill", is passed by Congress. It will get vetoed by this president but if we elect a Republican class action law suits are dead.

...to the rescue races Rep. Bob Goodlatte, a Virginia Republican who is among those promoting what's called the "Fairness In Class Action Litigation Act of 2015," a short and rather vague bill that would group injured parties into "classes" for the purpose of class-action litigation. Lawyers for aggrieved VW owners are calling it the "VW bailout bill"…

Everybody knows that any day now Krusty the Clown is going to get sued in the USA because his nose isn't red enough.

What the Republicans are trying to protect isn't some German carmaker, but all those Republican voting VW franchise dealers.

        Now Renault
        http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-0...missions-probe

        Some back ground:-
The French goverment want REnault (who bought Nissan some years ago) to focus car prduction in France. Renault told the leftist-nob-job goverment to piss off & mind their own bussiness. I suspect this is political strong arm-ing by the Loony-left nob-jobs...........

The downside is the vehicles in question were almost certainly from the French plants.
