I could have swore I read it on here, but I can't seem to find it.
I read somewhere that many bonds mature on 12/31, and with financial companies in such dire straights, they may not be able to make good on their obligations. In that same reading I read that 6/30 also is a date common for bond maturity.
Did I read that here? Even if I didn't, is this true? And if it is true... whooo boy monday should be a really fun day with not a lot of happy new years.
