I bought Chevron, Conoco and Vermillion Energy pretty close to the December lows, but I'm
    UNDERWATER now.

I was itching to buy more oil shares until I read this today. I probably will buy more should they keep falling,
but I plan to be a LOT more selective. Crescent Point (CPG) is definitely on my list should it drop down close to $15 US.
If what Morgan Stanley says turns out to be true, and gold prices reflect oil prices, where does that leave gold? IIRC, EJ said that as this plays out, neither stock holders, bond holders, cash holders nor gold holders will be happy.

I wouldn't worry too much about oil prices in the long term.

Does anyone thinks the Iranians will stop their nuclear weapons program?

No. Even if they were to announce a stop, they'll keep going.

And why is gas going up at the pump when oil's down to $48.xx?

Just look at Syria, it is in this state because Assad didn't have the ultimate weapon. This is a lesson for everyone in the Middle East including Iran.

Shiny, there's traditionally a 6-8 week lag time as prices move down and a 6-8 minute lag time as prices move up...

I really don't know but after they jacked up the tax, prices of gas (petrol) in Singapore has not changed as compared to a year ago when prices were $95 a barrel.

There's also reference to the CoreLabs report in the attached article, beginning at the bottom of page 3.
