Got a e-mail at work last night on the Home Office server..........asking the above question.
Not having much to do (night shift) i thought deeply about it. The door to the cockpit would be a BASTARD to get though. Made (i assume) from inn-a-nol, high grade Stainless Steel & Titamuim etc....no chance without shape charges etc.
However, half asleep it suddenly hit me...........i couldn't save that 150 people, but via some out of the box thinking i could save another. This is the "Mega" plan:-
Call comes in from Doomed airliner, they got 10 mins.........
I ring a stock brocker, use say $50,000 from a money market a/c & take a short polsition using put options on the airline in question (like the Sauda royals did with United on 9/11).
Then i call press, let them in on it.
Plane crashes, followed shorty by the airline stock price.
I collect the "Winnings".
Then i go to a poor 3rd World nation & i use the money to surrport 150 people who are going to die though lack of clean water/food/basic meds etc............
Ok, we lost 150 white european types, but saved 150 brown skinned people (makes a nice change some would say).
Sounds like a plan?
