    The Billion Prices Project Thinks Inflation May Have Turned a Sharp Corner


    course maybe its just bezos&co deciding that they might finally need to show 'some profit'...

    One of the biggest economic questions facing the U.S. economy in 2015 is this: Will measures of inflation veer into deflationary territory, or will prices firm?

    The Billion Prices Project, which scrapes the Internet daily to capture changing prices online and has often foreshadowed subsequent changes in official price indexes, shows a sharp turn upward in measures of inflation, albeit from a low starting point.
    i mean just because US gasoline prices have recently LAUNCHED (back) UP (from the costco low at xmas of 1.58 to 2.43 orso NOW) - along with beef and lumber on the comex...

    this certainly cant be inflationary - right?
