  • Should central banks raise their inflation targets?

First suggestion - that I have seen - in the mainstream media that inflation targets might be raised. Although the author does not endorse the idea.

Hold tight, the central banks have no plan

This raises the question of whether central banks, or governments, should consider raising their inflation targets...
...This is an experiment I would dearly love to watch, though preferably from outer space.

IMHO, Bernanke thinks he has a plan.

He is loaded for bear, or IOW, like all the armies that ever existed, he's ready to win that last great battle - he's ready to fight off the great depression, part deux,

But so far the inflation numbers have stymied him, will be his undoing, IMHO.

He's finding that it's hard to shoot chickens out of bows like that.
