    why using credit score is - or SHOULD BE - an effective enough of a tool for the ins co's to gauge their risk - would think that it would have to be, else they wouldnt be using it...

    methinks the spyware tactic is simply to gather as much data as they can, before this outrageously-invasive method gets stomped on by the civil liberty brigade (at least we can hope so...)

    it also suggests that the states - all THREE of em - that ban the practice, are over-reaching in a misguided attempt to 'protect privacy' - when the apparent result of this is the ins co's simply charge The Rest of US MORE to cover the losses generated by the deadbeats...

    kinda like whats just happened with 'subprime' lending, eh?

      well.. thats what eye thot, slim - but 'you know me', i have a tendency to jump to conclusion and assume that almost anything BIG BIZ - or the .gov - does - or how the lamerstream media spins it - is somehow suspect...
