Re: New Rules for News section

I try to inject a little hummor into what is a dry subject, Eric does not try to be a "Showman" like Schif or Keiser.....just puts forward his ideas on what is happening & why. Although the subject matter can be too much for my grey matter i try to follow..........& offer my views & advice.

Like the time EJ asked Yellon a few questions at a Fed press meeting........She quite clearly fancys Eric & i think he should use this to "our" advantage....in that he should give her a good pumping for info........just a thought ;)

I wonder if EJ read this and chuckled just a little bit? I know that I did.

So does this mean we'll finally see an end to postings referring to ZeroCred's BS?

                    ;P

Yes. One of the FREDs will use the vBulletin Replacement Variable function to prevent linking to sites that the iTulip community deems to lack credibility.

With reluctance, I have to agree that some sort of "soft censorship" makes sense on an internet forum. There is just too much distraction
with poorly thought out stuff. The danger I see is that "censorhip bias" could creep in. I don't see any solution for that problem.

                              That sounds great.

Ultimately if something is real and important the information will become available from multiple sources.

I don't see filtering out ZeroCred (and his often referenced compatriot Kingsworld) as censorship but as just reducing the informational noise.

What I find worrying is that I see Zerocrd's articles getting referenced in bigger and bigger blogging sites. His greatest "score" to date is some people on Market Watch are now referring to his tripe.

Scary stuff when a well respected financial news site starts referring to wing-nuts.
