And why not? The banks and investors have been under the protective arms of the Federal reserve for 20 years now.

Greenspan Put, Bernanke Put, TBTF, QE, Bail-in, prosecutor hog tying. The message is loud and clear to investors. You will be protected from your losses at the expense of mom and pop; and their pensions.
