Not been a good week for GM, but their turn around plans for their Euro-players (Opel/Vauxhall) presses on,

The big news is they about to start to use a new small gas engine, its a 1,000 cc (1 litre) 3 cyinder design they got of the French.....who built it with help from BMW. Alloy head/block 115 bhp with 125 flbs of torque at low rpm.........vastly better than the 1600 cc 4 cyinder it replaces.
Big move on the gearbox as well, a new 6 speed shift stick that 30% lighter than the unit it replaces & has a vastly better "throw" than the crappy, 30+ year old design 5 speed it replaces.....
At last GM has sussed that if you want people to BUY a GM, you need to follow Ford & build cars that are FUN................
