  • Fed President: QE A Massive Gift Intended To Boost Wealth

With hardly a pip of complaint from one of the most liberal Presidents in history or an overwhelmingly liberal Democrat party

"QE Was A Massive Gift Intended To Boost Wealth", Fed President Admits

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/21/2014 14:54 -0400

With Bernanke gone, the remaining Fed members knowing full well they will be crucified, metaphorically of course (if not literally) when it all inevitably comes crashing down, are finally at liberty with their words... and the truth is bleeding out courtesy of the president of the Dallas Fed, via Bloomberg.
    • FISHER SAYS QE WAS A MASSIVE GIFT INTENDED TO BOOST WEALTH

Which incidentally coincides with Bernanke's heartfelt "admission" that "my natural inclinations, even if it weren’t for the legal mandate, would be to try to help the average person." As long as helped to boost the wealth of the non-average billionaire., all is forgiven. "The result was there are still many people after the crisis who still feel that it was unfair that some companies got helped and small banks and small business and average families didn’t get direct help,” Bernanke said. “It’s a hard perception to break." The truth, as again revealed by Fisher, will not help with breaking that perception.
We wonder how President Obama, that crusader for fairness, equality and all time Russell 200,000 highs, will feel about that? In the meantime, just like the Herp, QE is the gift that keeps on giving.. and giving... and giving... to the 0.001%.

Obama "most liberal" "crusader for fairness"

Ah, more slogans, attempts to distract and invective from the guy that spends half of his time on these forums crusading against slogans, attempts to distract and invective and the other half posting slogans and invective.

You guys obsess and get all pumped up over Obama's words. Anyone can complain about the excesses of Wall Street, but it takes a real man to do anything about it. And we all know that Obama wears mom jeans.

the government has been a principle means of wealth transfer for a very long time. few large fortunes are made without it. a case in point, the railroads, circa the 1860s.

        Slim,

The GOP has done nothing, though they did try to rein in Fannie and Freddie around 2006. We know Obama has done nothing, but what about the Democratic party?
I guess all politicians of any persuasion are on the take, which is why they all have to go. More and more people are becoming independents; maybe they can gain power and get up moving in the right direction.

As for slogans I was simply answering to include Soros, et al when all I heard was "Koch brothers" and "right wing" repeated over and over. The other side is just as responsible, don't you agree?

And is any successful personal deserving of condemnation or only the ones that got by illegal, unethical, or dishonest ways? How can we speak in an even handed way instead of blaming one side or the other? Both the left and right are irresponsible. This forum has intelligent individuals; in the end we all wish to see the lot of the poor and middle class improved.

Let's come up with suggestions about how to do this.

        Peace.

That's actually a compliment although you didn't intend it to be.

Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
