  • NASA 2001 Future Issues (2025) paper

Actually quite prescient in many ways and makes for disturbing reading. I wonder what the equivalent 2013 paper says.

I can't find this on the NASA website. Is it for real?

Given it was supposedly posted in 2001, there's been plenty of time to debunk it, yet it hasn't; however, I also don't see it on the NASA website, so it's probably been pulled. But there's a pretty good chance it's for real (the predictions document that is) as Mr. Bushnell was also busy doing a similar thing for the Navy, and this one hasn't been pulled:

There's also a global organization called "The Millennium Project" that analyses the State of the [potential] Future and puts out some long term future projection reports, but a lot less focused on warfare.

Here's their 154 page long executive report from 2012.. I just found it, and have only skimmed it: (The 'forward' starts on page 16). It appears to be far less exotic, and more focused on tangible things:

Here's a more fun one: http://www.futuretimeline.net/ goes up to year 10,000 AD!

The probability of accuracy as you get further out, is likely to quickly approach zero, but still makes for some entertaining reading. Based on the 2090 predictions, I should be buying hoards of real estate in Antarctica for my grand children.

I think the document is not fake.

It is hosted on the website of the Federation of American Scientists: http://www.fas.org/man/eprint/

If you search on the web for the author, you'll find plenty of other papers and interviews. http://www.britannica.com/blogs/2010...uttle-program/

Reminded me of the AF 2025 report put out in the mid 90s. Were any of those predictions realized?
