  • House of Cards The Real Politicians

Anyone watch this series on Netflix: House of Cards?

House of Cards shows what politicians really do.

Good quick video here about politicians Rent Seeking Behavior and Machiavellian tendencies. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-0...-voting-public

On a side note, anyone watch Game of Thrones? I personally really like the show and I am a fan of Emilia Clark (Daenerys Targaryen) and Oona Chaplin (Talisa Maegyer) also the granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin. It is also very "Machiavellian and politically driven."

Haven't watched the series but I enjoyed the books. Wish Martin would hurry up and finish the series!

I've heard fantastic things about House of Cards and Kevin Spacey.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time or desire to watch it at the moment.....maybe someday I'll turn off life for a long weekend and just hibernate and watch it.

I only hope it inspires some people to get off the couch and leave the cocoon to effect change.

I have seen a few episodes of Game of Thrones.....maybe the frequent and violent end for some malignant characters is a bit cathartic.

Did watch the BBC original, which was a delight.

Many hours in the day but I guess you do live in New Zealand, a much better place to go out compared to Dallas. Here we get to see flat land for hundreds of miles.
