As if the Sovs ever had a monopoly on a political and social movement that has its roots in the Enlightenment and coalesced into action sometime before the French Revolution.
As if the left was ever a single monolith with perfect ideological harmony and organization unity.
As if a neoliberal/neoconservative union based on looting has any bearing on the existence or non existence of that movement or POV worldwide.
As if merely because the extreme right wing gets to dictate to us what words mean we should just accept on faith that because the Sovs tanked, we've come to the end of history and nothing else will change again, ever.
Geez, doesn't this boy is a dog is a horse is a pig thing ever get tiresome for you dudes? Talk about historical determinism.
But don't get so excited there with your urgent typography and all. Me, I don't have a horse in the race and will be dead long before the intermission and final acts play out of this farce. Good food, good wine, good friends and good health is enough for me. And you all can have it.
