The thought crossed my mind that it could have been the local govt checking up on zoning infractions or unlicensed construction. I know for a fact a local city pays people full time to pour over satellite maps and look for structures not permitted and other violations. A customer said he built a small trellis over his patio and one day a code enforcement officer showed up at his door. Paid a fine, which is all they were after anyway. Things are getting stranger every day. I caution anyone who thinks "they'll never know" to think twice. Big Brother is watching.

In August 2012 the acting FAA Administrator, Michael Huerta, addressed the "drone industry" trade group Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) at their convention in Las Vegas and publicly announced that the FAA was actively working to "safely and efficiently integrate unmanned systems into our airspace".

I know the military's accident rate per flight hour today is light years better than the 1950's when it was a near daily event.

Drone crashes per flight hour must be crazy high at least compared to current 1st world civil/military/commercial rates. I've seen the remnants of a few.

Last night I'm at Ocean State Job Lots in Waltham to buy tarps for $2.95. I could go to Home Depot and pay $8 but that, in my view, is wasteful. Mine is the only BMW in the parking lot. Judging by the dress code I'd guess I was in the company of men and woman who are not there for a bargain but for what they can afford.

When you visit, we can take a stroll though GoodWill. Great deals on clothes.

Yes they do have great deals. We have found other thrift stores such as Habitat and Hospice also have great deals on many things. We recently found a really nice leather coat for my wife for $40.
