Scary words to come out of the worlds 2nd largest economy.
This mentality is nothing surprising. There's a Chinese saying "If the top beam is not straight, the lower beams will be crooked." - http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E4%B8...A2%81%E6%AD%AA
If officials are plundering, you can't expect the citizens to be honest.

No wonder they are fearful of the vatican.Last edited by touchring; November 04, 2013, 07:39 PM.

I'd like a fake fried egg sandwich with a side of Fukushima fries, please, and don't drain all the gutter oil off the fries, I'm hungry today. Anyone seen my dog?"I love a dog, he does nothing for political reasons." --Will Rogers

I get sick thinking about this. I think I ate that stuff at a restaurant in Shanghai (yes, got very ill as well).
Note to visitors to China: DO NOT EAT THE LOCAL FOOD

Your local grocery store has thousands of items from China on the shelves.
I suppose some of it includes gutter oil.
I happen to like the smoked oysters that come in the little square cans, but have not eaten them for 2 or 3 years.
All the brands in my local stores are "product of China".
Once I started looking, I was astonished at how much of US food comes from China.
I have become rather compulsive about this -I will not buy an item until I find what country it comes from.
I assume it comes from China if I cannot find the marking.
Sadly, I also assume that food marked "product if USA" or "product of Germany" probably includes ingredients from China.
