I don't know who Russell Brand is and had no expectation of being impressed, but this interview made me stop and take notice. He's very articulate. If a guy like him can see what is wrong with the system, anyone can. Unfortunately his solutions aren't so brilliant, but this is probably where the world is headed when the revolution comes.

This tosser did a radio show on Radio one............he was paid an INSANE amount of Mega's money for his bulsh1t. When at last someone "fronted" the BBC...they said they HAD to pay him that much or he "snatched" away by other company.

He got fired & NO ONE WANTED HIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brand is absolutely correct that change from within is impossible these days. The only change will come from outside the system. As in the dark ages with the Catholic church being the controller of much of the system today the UK and Wall Street FIRE systems control not only the economies but the political systems whether Labor, Conservative, Democrat, or Republican. The systems are BROKEN!!!!

For all of Russell's accent, intelligence, quick wit, and articulation he seems to be living in an economic zero sum game box.

If his celebrity is able to help spread the message of the special interest political class great.......but what I fear is also what he may represent which is:

The pain threshold becomes so high for so many people that they are willing to listen to and follow a populist who promises to make the pain go away.

The pain threshold becomes so high for so many people that they are willing to listen to and follow a populist who promises to make the pain go away.

What this video tells me is that when enough people finally reach their pain threshhold they will embrace the first charismatic leader who promises to make it all better by redistribution of wealth, massive taxation of corporations, etc... A new socialist utopia. Like it worked so well the other times it's been tried. As JFK said, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."
