I think a major change is coming in Europe........Germany & Italy (& others) already like CNG.....France & Blighty use LPG, but its not given a big enough tax break. Diesel produces a lot of Par-tick-u-ates & crap that can cause cancer & breathing troubles.....
The EEC is looking to can diesel in normal cars & Mega wants it gone as well. The trouble with diesel is you get V8 levels of torque out of small engines. I had a number of "sales rep" types stand on their gas pedel & using the torque to fust-ate my overtaking run....Somethimes i can get the engine on the cam & the next stright am past as they run out of gears (Turbo-diesels have narrow rav ranges & need LOTS of gears).
CNG however is totaly differant...has none of that trouble & less calor-if-ic value then petrol......just what the "reps" need!!!!!
