This is not surprising. I have posted more than one poll that shows that the Tea Party is more educated than the general population. It is also significantly older, whiter, wealthier, and more likely to be married. It is somewhat more likely to be male. This is old news. Seriously. It is. There have been tons of polls done since 2010.

But I do figure ol' Dan should have walked across his New Haven campus and checked in with the polisci department before going to the presses with his 'surprising' finding.

I'm not as trusting as you seem to be Shakes. I need to actually, you know, read the study you posted before making a decision on its merits. See otherwise I'd just be confirming biases. Then again I've had more sleep and aren't as cranky you seem to be.

this stuff perks me up, actually (the intellectual stimulation an all...)
altho i do get to feeling like i cant keep up/tough crowd to run with - esp me 2-fingahd typing skills leave me at a disadvantage.
