This has nothing to do with medicine! They want to ask about you sex habits and history, your alcohol and any drug use, and other personal data that may have little or no value on your health. What now happens to the trust between you and your doctor?
Next what is the government going to do with this info? What over government agencies at all levels will get a look at it? How will the other agencies use it? What about your data being stolen and used against you? Will it be used politically against you? That's far fetched, but with the current group who knows?
What about your doctor? He or she will effectively be bribed to collect this information and give it to the government. For some doctors this could be an important part of their income. Remember the government has cut what a doctor can charge under Medicare and Medicaid. But wait! Now your doctor has a chance to possibly make what he or she did 10 years ago!
If there is an issue that can cause the public to rise up and demand their representatives stop this invasion of privacy (along with NSA) this is it. I'm going to send this to my Senators and congressman. The right of privacy has been stolen from us.
