What's up with the new What's New? format.

    Does anybody like it?

Do I have the old format as an alternate choice?

Try the "New Posts" icon which is just below and to the left of the "What"s New" icon and it seems to give you the same results that we used to get.

    Cheers

        Re: What's New?

In the last version, from the initial iTulip home page the "Forum" bottom sent us directly to the Front Page. From there the Forum button sent us to the classic Forum page. The same Forum button did two different things depending on context; sometimes it gave us the Forum, sometimes it gave us the Front Page.

Now the site behaves as it did in earlier versions, where the Forum button goes always to the classic Forum page, and there the Home button is available to get us to the Front Page. The new (and older) scheme is more obvious and consistent to me; when you ask for the Forum you get the Forum every time.

FWIW, I have come to like the Front Page view - it's nice to see the first couple lines of the latest posts with the poster's name and avatar.
One extra mouse click to get there is not too much trouble.
