    how quick we forget...

wasnt until eye noticed a couple of flags casually planted in the front yards of a couple of my neighbors this evening before it dawned on me - and thought i'd wait to see if anyone else here mentioned it...

but i'd like to offer a moment of.... ummm.... silence, if you will - in remembrance of all we've lost in the days since that clear and blue morning in september 12 years ago today.

fortunately, some of US will NEVER forget - even if some in the media-industrial complex would prefer we think about other things.

funny how quietly the day almost snuck by, isnt it?

I heard almost no mention of it. But the firehouse near my home had hundreds of little American flags planted in their front yard. One for each of the 343 firefighters who lost his life at Ground Zero. It was very touching. They didn't forget.

Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
