They will go for your money first. They will contemplate deposit insurance after the banks have been "recapitalized". Do you think that you are safe because you live in the US?

What has to happen in the world for the Powers That Be to consider confiscating your bank deposit? Answer: not much.
It seems my words did not convey my intent . . . .

I'm not only expecting banking deposits to be confiscating, I'm expecting the whole global economy to blow up.

I thought it was to track drug dealers and illegal activities.
IIRC, the law was enacted by the government, not the banks.

            Final score was 72-68.

            Point spread was 10.

            Bye bye $20 grand . . . .

Who said anything about spreads? All I said was Louisville is going to win it at all. Did you see how many NBA distance (and beyond) threes Michigan had to hit in order to defeat the Syracuse zone? They won't do that again. Just as Syracuse's hot hands weren't repeatable.

Trying placing a $20 grand bet without a point spread - good luck, padre.

Well my gambling days are long since over but I do remember a few things - buying points and moneyline wagers just for starters...

Still that first reply was mostly in jest. I don't even watch NCAA hoops until the last couple of games, I'm a long-time NBA fan.

I'm curious, Padre, did they not offer moneyline wagers way back in the olden days? Louisville (-185) paid off handsomely tonight for those that did indulge.
