Some data points on China and nuclear power - which may not be common knowledge:

1) China plans to build 250+ nuclear power plants by 2050

That's roughly one every other month.

2) China has 17 nuclear power plants operating now, but 11 were built in 2011

I'm waiting for the Chinese version of the movie about their Nuke Plant Meltdown....."The Colorado Syndrome"

But seriously - at least they see the problem ahead for all its worth.
