  • How's this for predatory lending?

Check out the Cleveland map - for 13 out of 36 counties, 57% or more of ALL loans made in 2005 were sub-prime.

Then go check out the map on:

Greg Newton's blog - great stuff - showing foreclosed properties owned or serviced just by Deutsche Bank.

Its the end of the world as we know it (just saw Independence Day again)

The little interactive map paints a pretty clear picture. I wouldn't just single out Deutsche Bank though. I bet if all major lenders were included, most of them would have heavy subprime distribution in these areas.

Wow. I grew up in an inner ring suburb just outside of the Cleveland city limits and know many people there who are still "stuck" there. Its bad. I'm fortunate to have done very well in life and have made it out to better areas.

      What a mess.
