Re: Auto-Driving: What Are the Consequences?
That made me laugh Don. I've always worked on, and with, the creative side of business. I love working with people who are smart and sometimes annoying and most of the time, very creative but a little bit crazy. Some of my favorite jobs have been managing groups of sales people and software engineers, (not at the same time that would be suicidal).
Although they're different types of people on the surface, working with both groups is like managing a herd of cats and knowing that while it's sometimes a bit out of control, you do have to let them be cats. Nothing destroys a good business faster than an out of touch C level hiring mid level managers to train the dogs...pretty soon the cats move away and the dogs learn how to sit quietly...Unfortunately they can't sell and they can't code.
