agree with that too much capicity to build cars. Who got hurt? Ford, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, ... Although the last three are foreign name plates, many of their cars are built here. My wife owns a 2000 chevy venture. It's unreliable, I would not buy another GM. I had to fix a lot of stuff even before 50K miles. Gaskets, Water Pump, fuel guage, body computer. The fuel guage and body computer remain not fixed. They are annoyances and expensive to fix.
