You may be right, but then again people don't necessarily revolt only when they're starving.
Being semi-literate, dirt poor, powerless bystanders watching all the Mercedes roll by on the roads can do it to.
This condition itself may be tolerable - but not when you KNOW your kids will be in the same boat.
